LEAD: Social Media Marketing introduces students to the importance of social media platforms in marketing and advertising today. Students will put together their own social media campaigns and submit a business proposal for how they plan to execute their campaign across all platforms.

Get a Behind-the-Scenes Look at What Drives Social Media
Starting from week one, students will take a close look at the forces that drive social media engagement—which kinds of campaigns work most effectively and at what level—as well as the roles and stages involved in social media marketing. From analytics to creative copy to ad management, students will gain a knowledge of how content is distributed and managed in a business context.
Improve Your Business Skills & Further Your Reach
Students are encouraged to bring their own small business ideas and extracurricular memberships into the class. As they collaborate with others on campaign strategies, do independent market research, and utilize the metrics behind social media, they will discover solutions to expand the virtual presence of any small enterprise.
